Debug without Drama

StratusIOTsolutions is proud to announce the release of its USB-to-Serial adapter kit.  It’s a step above, on two counts:

  1. It’s a combo of serial-to-USB hardware adapter with robust USB dri ver
  2. It includes a software platform that finds all COM ports on your machine and color codes any StratusIOTsolutions adapters to match the LED color in the adapter.

Have you ever struggled with the tangle of USB-to-Serial adapters or driver issues?  Not with the with the StratusIOTsolutions USB2TTL developers kit.  That’s the “debug without drama.”

IoT and the coffee maker

When you get out of bed in the morning, do you have a bleary-eyed conversation with your IoT connected coffee maker on your smartphone?  Or perhaps you don’t really care if it forever flashes “12:00″ and all you want is your morning cup of coffee.*

Yes, some IoT products may strike us as sheer silliness, but there’s also the matter of cost.  In the February 21, 2015 issue of World Magazine the author makes similar statements based on his observations of the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show in January.  He states, “this first generation of connected devices is very expensive – one of the reasons why many tech watchers believe the Internet of Things may never reach it’s potential,” and cites lack of standards as possibly the heart of the issue.

StratusIOTsolutions tries to bring relevant, practical, and cost effective solutions to the market.
